You force your drowsy eyes open once again. Searching around hopelessly, you lay your head back down and continue looking out the window. You sigh heavily.
You shouldn't be selfish, you scold yourself. Many schools, especially Iwatobi's and Samezuka's swim clubs, have advanced to international tournaments. You were really excited for them all, especially for Haru, but you couldn't help but feel a little bit lonely inside.
I'll have a Blue Christmas without you
I'll be so blue thinking about you

Won't be the same, if you're not here with me
Night had finally fallen. Giving up, you stand up and walk away from the window. You'll have to celebrate Christmas alone this year for the first time. You felt your eyes sting sadly. It hurt how tradition had to be broken because of a mere distance problem.
Drowsiness kicking in, you plop down into your bed and begin drifting off. Tomorrow would be Christmas, so you still like to wake up early to enjoy it.
And when those blue snowflakes start fallin'
And when those blue melodies start callin'
You'll be doin' all right, with your Christmas of white,
But I'll have a blue, blue, blue, blue Christmas
You woke up excited. Today was Christmas! Jumping out of bed, you ran downstairs and began punching numbers on the phone.
It rang continuously, but nobody picked up. Why wasn't anybody-
Oh, right.
You hang up and put the phone back quietly. He was still somewhere on the other side of the Earth today. You wipe away an incoming tear, and begin breakfast.
Knock Knock.
You look at the door. Did the mailman forget it was a holiday?
Knock Knock.
Reluctantly, you get up.
"I'm coming." You call. You open the door.
"What the- Haru?" You whisper.
"Merry Christmas." He plainly responds.
"But I thought-you were-with everyone-"
"Christmas was around the corner, so tournaments are being postponed for a while."
You weren't embarrassed that you began crying in front of Haru. You quickly wrap your arms around him and squeeze him tight, tears free-falling on his shirt.
"I missed you so much. I thought I would have to spend Christmas alone."
"I wouldn't let you do that, [Name]. That wouldn't be right."
You let go. "Are you coming inside? I just made breakfast."
He nods, and you lead him in.

I'll have a Blue Christmas that's certain

You'll be doin' all right, with your Christmas of white,
But I'll have a blue, blue Christmas

Waiting - Rin x Reader
Waiting was the worst part; you had waited for the date of the flight, the line for security, the flight itself, and mostly, you waited for Rin. You couldn't help but feel lost in the unfamiliar airport. Your magenta-haired boyfriend was nowhere to be seen, an you were starting to grow a little tense; you hadn't seen him in over a year, what if he changed? Or maybe he decided not to come? Shaking your head to suppress those thoughts, you tried searching through the crowded airport.
"[Name]?" A familiar, yet so foreign, voice called out from array of people.
Turning around harshly, you were met with brilliant magenta eyes that haun

Waiting For You [nanase haruka x reader]
Haruka was on his daily visit to see you. It was the only chance he got to talk to you, always believing you could hear him. Always choosing to hope you were likely to wake from your coma.
On the way to your room, he was stopped by a doctor, “Make the most of these days,” he advised Haruka. Instead of saying something in reply, he rushed towards your room. His breath hitched when he saw you, like every other time he came to visit you. Walking towards you, he reached for your hand as he sat down beside you.
“(Y/n)? Can you hear me?” Haruka looked for any movement, a brief flicker of hope in his eyes.

Boy Talk (Haruka Nanase X Reader)
“Haru-chan! Haru-chan!” You screamed as you ran towards him through the bleachers after he had emerged from the locker room, apologizing at every pair of seated legs you hit.
He looked at you with the same expression he always had, blank, hiding something; a hint of a smile growing the closer you got to him. When you were one stride away he prepared himself for the impact as you jumped on him and wrapped your arms and legs around him tightly, holding and squeezing him like a koala. He hesitated but then softly ruffled your hair whilst his other arm supported you, gently placing you back on the floor.
“You were amazing! All
